Patrick will travel to Hawaii to explore volcanic and geologic activity through guided tours and firsthand study of lava flows, craters and volcanic landscapes. His proposal aims to deepen students’ understanding of plate tectonics and volcanism by bringing real-world science experiences into the classroom and building excitement for science learning.
