Arlington Middle School
Monica, a teacher at Arlington Middle School, will travel to Valparaíso, Chile, to study muralism, poetry, and visual storytelling traditions. Her proposal aims to strengthen literacy instruction for multilingual newcomer students by using arts-based strategies that support identity, belonging and access to academic content.
